These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of SpringsAtlas.com (the “Site”), operated by SpringsAtlas (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

SpringsAtlas is an informational directory. You may browse, search, and share listings for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not:

• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Site in bulk without prior written consent.
• Reproduce or redistribute listing content for commercial purposes without attribution.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content through any feedback or correction form.
• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

2. Accounts

Creating an account via Google OAuth lets you save bookmarks and access personalised features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

3. Accuracy of information

We strive to keep listing data accurate and up to date, but hot spring facilities, fees, and access routes change frequently. Information on the Site is provided “as is” for general guidance only. Always verify critical details — opening hours, safety conditions, and entry requirements — directly with the facility before visiting. We accept no liability for decisions made based on Site content.

4. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise attributed, all original written content on the Site is © Adventure Consultancy Solutions. Listing data is sourced from open licences:

• OpenStreetMap data: Open Database Licence (ODbL)
• Wikipedia content: Creative Commons BY-SA 4.0
• Wikidata: CC0 1.0 Universal

Photos are hosted on Cloudinary and attributed individually on each listing. If you believe any content infringes your copyright, contact us at legal@springsatlas.com.

5. Affiliate links

The Site may contain affiliate links to hotel booking platforms (Booking.com, Agoda, Rakuten Travel, Jalan, Klook). If you make a purchase through these links, SpringsAtlas may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence which springs are listed or how they are ranked.

6. Advertising

The Site displays advertising through Google AdSense. Ads are clearly labelled and placed to avoid interfering with editorial content. We do not control the content of third-party ads.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpringsAtlas shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, including but not limited to reliance on inaccurate listing information, loss of data, or injury sustained while visiting a listed hot spring.

9. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content or privacy practices of any third-party site.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
